Bye, Cancer....

It is now 19 May 2010. In about one month, near the end of June, I will be officially three years cancer free. YEAH! The remainder of the pages that were here only serve as a reminder of some really bad times. I have, therefore, removed them.

I have now officially beaten the hell out of the cancer that attacked me. On my diagnosis day, I told my oncologist that, very much contrary to the 50/50 odds he'd just given me for simply getting out of the hospital alive, I WAS going to beat the cancer. That was the only acceptable outcome at that time, and still is. I am still unable to work, still living on a disability check, and still dealing with the long-term (15–20 years in some cases, a lifetime in others) recovery issues.

I don't know to what degree I'll maintain this page from here on. It's been so long since I've done anything with it anyways....
