Etoposide, VePesid

What does it look like and how is it administered?
Colorless liquid injected into the vein.

What are the side effects that I should look out for?

Loss of appetite
Nausea and vomiting may occur for one to six hours
Allergic reaction mayh occur: coughing, stuffy nose, itching, flushed skin or rash, shortness of breath, chills, fever, and decrease in blood pressure.
Mouth or lip sores
Decrease in blood counts seven to 14 days later
Hair loss or thinning
